A State of Trance, Markus Schulz, and Ferry Corsten! Oh and Above and Beyond initially too.

TM came highly recommended from a good friend. She was right, it's great.
Kickin' it... old school!

I've been listening to tons of live sets and such for years, but always had to do the hunt and suffer through the misery of public upload sharing sites. I stumbled upon the site while seeking out last year's EDC Vegas sets, and was lucky enough to get in during a open reg. Now the great amount of weekly shows and sets is my addiction.

I saw tribalmixes by a torrent file for frisky radio led me to the site, it was as if I removed the blindfold and see the huge amount of dj's, clubs, radio stations, parties and over the web is attractive .......... and here I am,

I had some issues with downloading from Usenet.. So I was searching for music and found tribalmixes. I check tribalmixes every day now, when using Usenet I'd search once every 6 - 8 weeks to music..

Now this is taking it back......
I stumbled across Tribalmixes when i had a taste for good breaks, when Krafty, Plump Djs, Lee Coombs, Rennie Pilgrem played funky breaks. A guy called Dj Icey ruled the roost and had an awesome weekly show and this is where i could picj it up each week. Both Slash and Bocaccio were into the same sort of music and we got to share some awesome electronic music. Still got lots of that music to this day
Slightly off topic..... In the early days i struggled with ratio and a poor internet connection, but through persistence of leaving my torrent client open i managed to get ahead and have the freedom to download anything on the site.
Thanks for the shout out Billy

Stumbled across it in a Google search, or maybe saw a link on mixing.dj
Basically, just searching for fresh mixes.

Was looking for a deep dish track that I had originally downloaded via Napster back in like year 2002, I didnt know much about deep dish back then but I LOVED the paticular track. I lost my original copy when my HD crashed and was on a desperate quest to find another copy.
Took me like 3 years to find it because just like with everything that was on P2P back then the show description on the file name was vague...but I found it here on tribalmixes, it was included in the megapack. Live @ Foundation 04-05-2002.
Cheers

Someone on the BPM 2014 Facebook group listed the links to a lot of the shows and since I didn't get to go . . . I enjoyed them via TribalMixes! Thanks to Darren Lamison-White (now Prime-Minister D-Nice) for "hookin-me-up"!!
Luver of DEEP, soul-pounding BEATS!!
Get Your Beats and Pound Me Deeper, Harder, Faster . . .
. . . Ohhh Yeah, that's the way I like it!!

I am keen to hear how others who use the site, found us?
What i find interesting and would to like to know more..... Is that very few users find us in the same way, rarely are using the same searches and are not looking for the same thing.
C'mon friends, share with us all the way in which you made Tribalmixes your home of electronic music?

After going down, I was looking for an alternative, in some forum they mentioned tribalmixes and a few other sites. I stayed here. Big variety of sets and a very motivated sysop. Cheers!
