Guys, i have been lucky enough to be handed a cracked copy of MIRC, this program is working fine for me on Windows 7. I am using the trial version at present. Let me know if anyone would like and i will throw it up on fileshare?

back in the days i used to have a special java client attached to the site, called PJIRC i think, one could start it from a link on tribalmixes, but then would have to keep browser window open to chat.. i could look into it again and set it up, if there are such big problems with finding free standalone clients.

well guys from my perspective I didn't like MIRC, but if it works, it works.. however using XP Icechat does the job, for XP use version 7 as for some reason version 9 doesn't play ball at all

Thanks munkyn, will use version 7. Didn't have much luck w/ 9 . . .

Careful with ThrashIrc . . . it constantly crashed on me (unusable) and MB said his AVG considers it a virus. Good chance it is, I believe.
