please note 2 little additions to the RULES of REGISTRATION period.

NEW :: all 3 (three) DJs' names must be entered at the moment of registering a team!!! if only 1 or 2 names are entered - team is dropped from the contest to give way to the next registered team of 3 DJs.

NEW :: team CAN NOT be changed after making the 20 accepted ones. please make sure all DJs on your team are willing to participate. teams that request change of a member will be automatically dropped from the competition.

this means that you cannot "grab" a spot for your team, if you do not have one yet. only complete teams of 3 DJs will be considered as participants. and once that team has entered the registration - there will be no changing except quitting the contest.

kinda quiet... heh... did i do complete rules coverage? or did everyone chill down towards IDC? =)

nevertheless, quick update for those who want to know.

teams registration will be open 2009-01-03 00:00:01, as stated earlier

judges and listeners will also be allowed to sign up starting that moment

to register a team, one will need to know following info: team captain, team collective country (if desired), name/country/email/username (if registered at tm) of each of the 3 DJs on the team

to register as a judge or listener, one will need to submit 3-4 lines of the reasoning why he/she should be accepted on the idc-staff-team

last year's registration process will not be employed this year, on the contrary all registrations will be happening through the website's pre-existing tools (forums, personal messages)

final info and format of registrations for any of the idc purposes roles will be published on Thursday, Jan 01, 2009.

so far over 20 team submission have happened, only 8 of them were accepted to IDC 09, most of the others were turned down / rejected due to incomplete information provided, such as missing tm-usernames, missing emails, missing DJs' countries, missing DJs, missing all info. those who thinks it's funny to submit an empty message into that thread get 1 week warning.

please, be careful and responsible.

judge's job is to listen to music and to grade it
it is written in the beginning of this thread, on the website's main page in news section and on the official idc 2009 page. i can stick it into few other places, but i don't think it will help...
