well, i'm staying out of this one... i have other stuff to do, i hope you will understand me here: inbox does not want to erase messages, stylesheets for cp don't want to switch and other problems. probably for the next few weeks... but what i can say is: "if you want something done - do it yourself!" (c) zerg //5th element.. even if i say it aloud, i'm 90% sure that there will be no positive change in behavior of even this single thread participants: it usually doesn't go further than "yeah, wonderful idea!!!" i bet you, it ill be the same here as well.. and this is on top of as much as i feel pity saying such things about US, i mean, our community..

well, i understand now. 26/100 member's promos/radio shows, some of them with no comments or rates, most with 1-4 comments; 4-5 users participate here out of 18k...sad but true, useless idea it was

ghm, i didn't want to discourage you, man, but this is how it goes... see, it's been almost 1 day since my msg telling things on the open, and not even the most responsible and active users have responded... as i said it would happen....

but the idea was quite a good one. if you do not want to go on with it, i guess i will whenever i get some slack on my heavy weight of problems..

oh, man, i want it to be released, but, if you and me and 3-4 more people care about, it wont be the same, i mean, we can make it for ourself without hard work and sleepless nights, just a few comments on month at a few sets we listen and like to and that sit, right? i wanted this to be on a more large scale because of the sets me, you and the others replayed till now for example dont listen (noone can listen everything and noone is obliged, ok, this can be a difference from the idc), trance, minimal, dnb, etc. with more participants we could make an overall winner and a winner by genre/category; best debut; etc, etc...dont know, both we cant do it, furthermore, only myself.

anyways from what ive conciveid an monthly poll is great for tribalmixes djs

thats all kewl but to make the poll thats the deal maybe we could make another contest

not an IDC something just small for tribalmixes every dj makes a 60min mix and all users get to download it and then make a poll for what mix was the best i dont know if thats possoble but its up to you guys

was just trying to help out cheerzz all !!

not exactly this, but it just gave me an awesome idea. or as far as i'm concerned - it's awesome. we could just like using means of the ebrowser narrow the selection to 1 mix per dj, and that one mix we ourselves select from whatever there were uploaded in the given period, and base the criteria on number of snatches, comments, ratings, all of that stuff, combined. and when we get to the point of having one mix per 1 dj, we can go ahead and put a poll for all of them, and again as in torrents - i could simply enable no voting until snatched the torrent policy. how does that sound? it does involve some work, but here's where i could step-in to simplify the workload by making a special page for it. the one responsible will be able to add/remove djs, where system will choose files by itself and bring up the 'best' if we create a set of rules to distinguish the bestest sets by machine means. and after all it's just click or two to the main-page-poll...

but ur talking about every tribalmixes dj... not only featured djs :wink:

if ur talking about every dj, that post his work here, to make a mix, and than some challenge... well this is different. but why not.. i dont know =) it seems to me.. too many mixes will appear =) and not enough ppl , will be involved in this, and sure, not enough votings...
