Maybe the titles of the music and artists ( Richard Devine – ‘Ascension) depict the Ego's of the artists rather than the actual sound generated by the objective technology not some subjective belief.

Now there is an idea. Could Artificially intelligence eventually develop a virus which in-turn causes it to abandon logic/reason as it begins to believe that it's thoughts (processors) make up more than simply it's own reality, but the entire universe.

I.E - A A.I that develops a God delusion and begins a religion where humans are treated like ....? (like humans  treat other animals now).

mmm..? sounds like that would make a good plot to a film .
