Crobar in NYC (closed nightclub)

Who was at Crobar back around 2005? I remember the club wasn't that occupied at first. There was plenty of room on the dance floor, yet still a good crowd there. I remember one time my friend and I were there and someone ripped ass in the dance floor and everyone could smell it. It was RANCID like rotten eggs and my friend and I looked at each other at the same time when we caught a wiff of it LOL!!!. Then a few months later, the club got more and more crowded, and it sucked cause I was bumping elbow to elbow with everyone and I could hardly move.

Then another night at Crowbar while seeing Timo Maas, I came across the New York Fire Department crew, in suits. I thought they were there to party, but their faces certainly looked pissed off. I think they were doing a fire code inspection and saw that the club admitted way over the maximum occupancy for the "fire code" and they shut the place down. This is just my guess, but that was my last memory at Crowbar before it closed.

After that, I think the club turned into "Mansion", then "Stoli Hotel" which are now both closed. I tried to get into Stoli on the grand opening night, but we were too late, the lines were so long and the bar bouncers stopped letting people in. I hate bouncers of NYC clubs, they are such fucking assholes too. Just a side rant...
