New Tribalmixes Rules - Invites

I am intrigued to hear what users think should make up the way we invite potential users to Tribalmixes.com?

One part of me says make the inviter accountable for the new user we invite, if ratio needs can't be met this affects the inviters download ability as well. Or, will it be the case that the invite is precious enough to make a new user want to interact in Tribalmixes.com? Are points exchangeable between the inviter and invitee to assist in getting the new user up and going on the website?

Should the inviter be held accountable for the user they choose to invite? What guidelines should be put on this?

I am keen to hear your ideas?

I think I won't invite anyone if it can affect my status here. But that might be because I do not know anyone who I trust to upload enough. So it might work for others.

And if you decide to link the accounts of the new user to the inviter, you probably should consider giving the inviter some benefit if the new user performs well too. This might lower the barrier to invite people.

to be honest i dont think its a good idea to have the inviter responsible for the invitee actions on TM, i dont think its fair that you use your account everyday while thinking about someone else's activity on the site

But don't think you always have to be responsible for the invitee. Just a few months is more than enough, right? But should also be go both ways. If the invitee is doing an hell of an job with seeding and even uploading good stuff, the inviter should see some things in return (like points or some kind of credits withing this 'trial period'.)

my 2 cents.  

maybe user gets 1/2 of all points that this invited one earns in the next half year? =) encourage the user to breath up this new person's back (control and guide them, in other words)... =)    

Yes, I can live with that..  
I still have to find someone I could invite, but that is an other issue..
