American Deejays

This thread is about American techno deejays. In the past, you have had the following deejays as really the focus. Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson (belleville 3) + jeff mills. You had the second generation, which were Blake Baxter (before May tried to blackball him out of detroit) + Kenny Larkin, Stacy Pullen among others.

Now you got so many great techno deejays coming out of the USA

Dustin Zahn (out of minni...on drumcode, plays berghain!)
Drumcell (out of LA...berghain regular)
Audio Injection (out of LA)....berghain as well!
Kyle Geiger (featured on Soma Radio 011 + drumcode and droid)
DVS1 (fuck yeah!....)
Developer (harder drivin techno!)

As for the American deejays, you could put Donald Glaude, DJ Icey, Baby Anne, Sandra Collins and Christopher Lawrence among others

Yeh, not really into this scene Andy.... Just never could get hooked....

Derek Carter was about all i could come to, saw him quite a few times and really enjoyed his music..

you had felix da housecat, dj dan, danny tenaglia, tom stephan, victor calderone and robbie rivera (more for his stuff earlier in the 2000s)....

I was deeply into the tribal house movement after nubreed 3, so that meant tenaglia, superchumbo aka tom stephan (revolution was a nasty choon) and victor calderone.

In Canada, we love any deejay with talent, so that left out tall paul, judge jules among many others  . Music is above nationality to me.

Canada has Richie Hawtin (transplanted UK but lives in Berlin), John Acquiviva, Misstress Barbara (go back to the old bangin style barb!), Luke Fair and I guess I will count deadmau5 anyway, he is Canadian.

Australia - Dave Seaman still feels aussie to me, even tho he is a brit but Seaman pushed the aussies (GU022), Luke Chable, Anthony Pappa (lives in London tho) among others

my point is music is above nationality.
