Britword of the Week = Nonce

Since Brits have given us non brits, such colorful words to use like CUNT!, TWAT!, BAPS! among many other colorful words. I figure I'd try as a NON BRIT! (proudly fucking Canadian!) to have a word a week.

In the United Kingdom, the term nonce is a slang word used to refer to a sex offender or child sexual abuser. Although the term traditionally referred specifically to sex offenders, it has now become a more general term of abuse and is approximately synonymous with "idiot".[1][2] This is not to be confused with the other meaning of "nonce" as in nonce word or its use in the term "cryptographic nonce". "Nonce" also means "now" in ordinary English.[3]

What is it about English though? It has more swearwords and the ability to knock up swearwords than any other language on the planet.

French (my second tongue) is so limited in comparison. English was made for cursing, swearing, slagging-off and generally ripping the piss out of anything and everything and anyone.
