he might be playing more progressive and even if he is going towards house music, he still plays tracks that have the trancey elements here and there.

Prog house is the shit !!!!! ... do you mean that there is no good progressive house ??!!! .. that's pretty far away from the truth .. it's not tiesto who will come like a hero and save the prog house
... there are too many skilled and talented DJs who amuse our ears with their nice progressive house like Hernan Cattaneo, Dave Seaman, Thomas Penton and many others ps: for me Tiesto was dead in 2003 ..

Dudes, The guy is not all that
He was great when he was doing the trance stuff in the late ninetees and his magik series is amazing so was the Space age series he did with dj montana. He left the good trance behind. There are some dj's on his black hole label that still spin good uplifting trance. The stuff I remember from the ninetees, i.e. Mark Norman, Misha Helsloot, Cor Finejman, etc. There has allways been a housy side to black hole. The house series by DJ dazzle, callled freedom, is house at its best. My feeling on his supposed shift is he knows progressive, house, and techy shit dj's are getting the more popular and are close to showing up the big trance three. AVB, PVD, and Tiesto. My hunch is that he misses the premiere spot on the dj circut and is trying to regain that by jumping on the band wagon. But the truth is that the guy has left the vanguard of dj's to sit in a com{fart}able non leading stance. His mixes essentially have the same tunes as AVB and Ferry Corsten. It's getting old imho. Just do not have much respect anymore.

Another rumor is spreading that Tiesto is organizing a last Big trance party for his Good-Bye..
I invite all of you to dl Tiesto's set in Prague (if you don't alredy have it); as you'll notice it sounds house for the major part of the set (only 5-4 tracks are Trance);i also expect your feelings and reactions on this topic.
Will Tiesto abandon his Tech-Trance tendance ?
Is Tiesto right to make his music evoluate ?
Don't forget that before playing Trance, he was playing Hardcore !!!
