utorrent ver. 1.7.7 stable very much needed

hey everyone

please share with me by any means possible an older version of utorrent - 1.7.7, cause i cannot deal with 1.8+, since they don't wanna be connectable no way... and older versions work. but i could only find 1.7 beta 1703, which is pretty ugly... anyways, hope someone could help me out. thanks!!!

one day i knew i will make good use of this thread,

and i did

the new utorrent 2.0 cant load more than 6 torrents at a time.     so i am back to a lower version until they change it

In version 2.1 i read on their forums, and asked i made an account especially to ask!, and it was said during the next update (not sure if official or beta, but i will wait for the official) and they will make it add 100 torrents

yeah, i too dropped 2.0 quite a while a go, switched back to 1.8.4.
i think 1.7.7 lacks some nice features, like 'trackers' tab on torrents, some rearrangement of info on those tabs, and some other nice features. and i used a different service to find it - https://www.filehippo.com/download_utorrent/

ps. i don't use 1.8.5-release cause i don't like releases... =)

What issues did you have or didn't like with 2.0 Slash?

I have been using 2.0 for a couple of months now with no issues. With 2.0 i find that i don't have as much trouble with torrents registering on the TM tracker. Running 500-600 hundred with versions previous to 2.0 i often had to go through and refresh torrents upon restart. I don't have this issue now.

PS i still have kept some older versions of utorrent just in case....

latest release version of utorrent i tried was kinda stupid... and more more memory-demanding. stupid i mean on rules of seeding 200 torrents out of 3000 and having all others queued. it couldn't simply do 200, it had to do a different number...

I have 2.0 (Build 18488) with no issues to report. I just wish Utorrent would do a small set of torrents at a time when Closeing all or opening all (start/stop) I just hate it when I Stop all torrents it Stops all and only a few get in the tracker to tell it i have closed, so i am frequently left with 7 to 800 active seeds that i am not really seeding. lol

But here is something interesting, under utorrent help click on statistics and see what u get, here is my stats since either my last update or originally installed first version.

Total upload 1.82 TB thats your total upload since utorrent was installed (not updated) on your PC

and the rest i think is easy to get

hehe... my utorrent reports 6TB uploaded...

as for open/close, you're wrong, salsab, utorrent does open torrents in small groups of 10-20 torrents per every few seconds. and as for closing - that is true, it closes everything at once. when i had 3000 torrents seeding - it'd only manage to report 800 to the site, or site managed to answer to 800, who knows, i'd have 2200 torrents wrongly... =)

Hey I am proud of my accomplishments here on TM,   but I know I do not compare to that massive server your using,  

I was basically Stating that I had found that little feature, so u have something to look at if you ever wanted to know any of those details.
