Hi guys my birthday is in 2 nights and I need ur opinions on this. Both lawler and Kandi are gonna be in vancouver on the same night and I need to decide which concert to go to. I like progressive music alot so in that sense I think lawler will be better, but I'm not really familiar with Hed Kandi. I would appreciate your input on either one of these guys, if you have been to a recent show of theirs.

i like kandi ways more.hes style is FUNKY FUNKY FUNKY .. house music @ its best...of course some progressive aswell.it will be hell of a party, im sure about that.i dont like lawler new style..boring electro mnml drug music..
so my opinion is HED KANDI

Thnak you for the birthday wishes. when I went to lawler I expected a little bit of electro in his set and I thought his music would be pounding. He played mostly minimal stuff and it was relatively slow, no vocals added (not expected) and it was just a simple beat, then a climax and then a new beat would drop. The music was not dancable and it was definetly DRUG MUSIC, i'm sure if i was high I would have really enjoyed it. Either way it was a good night as me and my friends headed to the beach after and blasted some music in my car
. If I could choose again I would go to Hed Kandi instead.

The music that lawler played would have been great if I was high or if I was listening to his set on my Ipod. It wasn't music that you would play at a club that could get people moving. I went to sander 2 weeks ago and it was the best shit I had ever heard, I danced for 6 straight hours and everyone that I spoke to thought he played great music. Lawler used to be great back in the day when he would play sick tribal music that would move you.
On other news, Has anyone been to a saeed younan show, he is coming in like 10 days and its only $15 so I'm thinking of going. Does he still play good tribal????
