Well, heres a strange one for u..lately ived been giving much thought to the whole idea of MARRIAGE , So just wanted to know what do u guys think of the concept it self?
P.S: This is not a topic directed to older or over 20 users, But to the whole TM community, Guys/Girls.

I must say at the moment I would rather move in and live together with my girlfriend and act like a married couple but without actually getting married in the first place. I know it may sound strange but I have seen several marriages screw up and friends and family are still going to court and shit for that...no way...

Well im 19, which i think is a pretty young age to get married at, although lately lots of my freinds are gettin hitched and stuff, but my biggest problem is that i live in Egypt which is a Moslem country, but on the other hand im a Christian, The Christian population in Egypt is something id estimate about 8%, what im tryin to say is that u dnt come across a christian girl everyday. My last girlfreind, she was Moslem and we were together for like 1.5 years, got more and more attached, then got screwed and had to end it. I really dnt know how to look at marriage. Sometimes i never wanna get married before im 35 or older, at other times like after going to a freinds engagement party or sometin i feel that marriage wont be that bad and even that the total change in lifestyle that it brings along could be for the better good. Well i dunno got all confused again....ill keep u guys updated :-)

ask me. it was like an avalanche to my head, i mean the family, coz were not marriged, but we livin together for about half and year and we have a baby which is 8 months already :-D

i was with someone for 8 years up until last September we were happy living together and just having fun .

Plato said "The unexamined life is not worth living" .....you are so young, live your life toooo the fulllleeeesssst and if the right person steals your heart while you're living it then so be it. But never force yourself into a marriage or relationship just because a friend has chosen to do so.

This is great advice and i do know that...up till a while ago i was living my life with this concept...what made me overthink the idea isnt cos a friend of mine got hitched or so...its cos in Egypt the chance of hooking up with a christian girl by pure luck is probably :no:

probably not :unsure:

. marrige is not a relationship or feelin, its kinda contract u know, there is a goverment intervention, the church want to be there so, and the man and woman themselves dont need these bullshit to live in love, peace and goodness :-)
