ratio issues....

i have a question.. i started to download to sets, martin garcia and dj paul.... when i started to download the sets my ratio was at 5.27... while i was downloading i was seeding more than i was grabbing... as in my ratio for those individual sets was 3.00 and 2.50 respectively, but my overall ratio seems to be dropping, now its at 5.264... surely this is wrong, especially when im uploaded twice (80 - 100 Kbps) what im downloading (30 - 50 Kbps)?

if you wanna raise your ratio from 5.26 to 5.27 it's not enough to just upload more than what you're downloading.. in this example you have to upload more than 5.27 times more than what you download. think about it, and you'll realize. (if you download 1gb and upload 5 your ratio is 5. if you download 1gb more, and upload 3 more, your ratio will be 4. (5+3)/(1+1) = 4. )

yeah, vargabesz is right. to archieve that 5.27 ratio in the future, you'll need to have at least 5.27 ratio on every torrent you download... the global ratio is calculated as your sum downloads/sum uploads, mathematically it equals to the average of all the ratios you had on all torrents you have downloaded.
