I agree because the event is THE event because it is every 4 years.
If it was every 2 years it will lose a little bit of its magic...
and every 4 years there are also european championship and america's cup so...every 2 years big competitions anyways

probably it is not possible but what about world cup during winter like copa africa. so the players are not so tired like in the last one
