I started recording on YouTube and Twitch, but I'm not able to record from their own website. ;-( Always get a 403 with their m3u8. ;-(

i managed to start recording from their website. streams are at 1080p 7500kbps. hopefully the stream is stable, in past streams livexlive has been spotty at times :(

yea play the livestream in your browser and go and select the 1080p quality.
then look for the different m3u8 links by pressing F12 -> Network and search m3u8. (or you can use the Stream Detector addon for firefox which captures the m3u8 links for you automatically)
then capture the m3u8 with streamlink software

Thanks! My problem wasn't the m3u8, but not knowing about streamlink. I was only working with ffmpeg what only gave me a 403 error.

Managed to capture the following in 1080p at 7500kbps and 192kb/sec from the livexlive direct website stream:

Gorgon City (complete recording/incomplete broadcast) - they did not stream the complete set unfortunately

I managed to record the missing sets from youtube, but much much lower quality!
