i mean, i am here and will work on it probably. gotta sleep before EDC though.. that one is in 9 hours, afair..

EDC is better for my timezone :) Will check out the start of Hangout in 2 hours and see if I can automate some captures...

yeah... maybe not... as i was expecting, technical difficulties..

hehe.. the other fest rock on range there also having api connection problems.. hopefully they figure stuff out in the next 6 hours before EDC starts their live...

saw 5 minutes of the video. now it's gone again.. i really don't wanna ruin my evening by waiting for this hangout fest to maybe ever start streaming like normal festivals.. so i give up for now.. maybe later..

ok im back.. if someone wants to know, i fed the master.m3u8 link to youtube-dl and it's working fine...

for EDC i have now is this one but you should try your own. it's the first m3u8 link that shows in Network tab on Inspect. for hangout format was a bit different..

still a noob at this recording stuff. tried to find the hangout .m3u8 but no luck. your link for edc did work though

all you do is turn on the inspect in browser, usually F12, go to the network tab, in filter, enter "m3u8" to filter out only m3u8 files, there will be a few. so then you refresh the video page. and look for the first m3u8 to appear in the list. it'll be the master one. you copy that link from the browser, and feed it to youtube-dl or ffmpeg. livestreamer doesn't like this type of setup... youtube-dl later continues to update m3u8 file with the source and keeps recording. m3u8 only has 3 next files, so....

with EDC, m3u8 link is a bit different, also first m3u8 that pops up in the list, only looks different, cause streamed via different service.. i mean, just format. result is the same - recording..

ps. you might need to press play for the stuff to start working... for me connection to livexlive was really bad for hangout stream, i had to refresh maybe 10 times before finally getting it to work and m3u8 link to appear... also with hangout getting children m3u8 wouldn't work. only master m3u8 starts recording...

did anyone manage to record the entire broadcast?

didn't they have full rebroadcast overnight? i have almost full 5hr 40min copy, if anything later...

for everyone looking, i have day 1 (missing 20 minutes) and day 2 (full), will share both as torrents monday or tuesday, after EDC stuff goes through... i shared Zedd and The Chainsmokers, the rest there was rock and stuff.

if someone interested i can give direct download hangout friday and saturday ... ask me via personal message. files will be there for 1 week from now..

day 1 via livexlive 3.5GB, day 2 via twitch 8.5GB

for day 3 gotta check my recordings.. not sure if i got it..
