I set my client (qBittorrent) to use the RSS-feeds of my favourite DJs. Today, I saw that BobBross commented on a new torrent from Fernando Fereyra, wanted to download it, but already had it! Was afraid at first, that it might only be in the download-folder, and that I would have to move every torrent downloaded by an RSS-feed, but now, I had even specified different download-folders for different DJs, so they were right in place!
It's really a wonder, so few people use them yet, RSS has been around for years already.

RSS is very powerful indeed, used it in the past with downloads

is only as powerful as the software handling it...

I don't know, what RSS is capable of, but with qBittorrent, I can auto-download any recording of any DJ and qBittorrent even puts it in the right folder, so saving a unique folder for every DJ / RSS is possible. Auto download can also be disabled, then RSS is mostly informative, easier to automatically get notifications, than always search the site, though ofc. searching the site has it's own benefits. Wouldn't know what RSS could / should do more...

I am a big fan of RSS feeds in general. Anything that helps to organise swathes of information into easily digested chunks is a good thing

I found out, that downloading the torrents of popular DJs (like i. e. Sasha) is a great way to increase the share-ratio ^^ . As one is always below the first downloaders, one easily becomes one of the main seeders. I i. e. automatically downloaded Last Night On Earth 007 (I think it was released today) and it became one of the most-popular-front-page-torrents instantly. Uploaded about 5 times as much as I downloaded already
