This is pretty cool, thanks I might play around with it. Can you ever really trust USB drives though? Maybe if you never plug it back into your personal computer...

I have Tails on a stick...however yes not if you've ever connected to the net...however depends how paranoid you are...TAILs works really well on anything I have plugged it in to!!

Tails is a good one, also for not leaving a trace on the pc you're using (especialy if you're using it on a random pc somewhere). You shouldn't have a system like that with anything persistent, so if you're using it with the standard settings and leave them at that then fingerprinting shouldn't work either. The usefulness depends on what you want to do though, as overall TOR exit node bandwith still is a bit restricting. I'm running a non-exit node (limited to 50 mbit) on my server, but with the rest that's on there I can't risk running an exit node, and I think a lot of people are in that situation.
