&*^&ing disgraceful.... Why book the guy? I don't understand why you could even have this problem.

Anyhow i can vouch for Nick, his show here in Brisbane was off the hook and i would go back for more any day.

It's sad to read that venues are treating their booked talent/DJs like this, but I'm also glad to see that these artists are standing up for their style and uniqueness instead of just bending to what the owner, or a select few elite, want/request. Same thing happened to DJ Shadow in Miami. Seems the club/venue took quite a beating over that and issued an apology and intent to not let it happen in the future.

This has got to be one of the most disrespectful things that can be done to a dj.
A club that expects/forces a dj to play a particular kind of music (especially commercial) shouldn't invite other djs but work with resident djs...
It doesn't matter who complains about his style, even if it was the most important person in the world at that table...
Nick Warren is a legend and he doesn't deserve this bs.

Indeed, Nick Warren is an legend. You don't say to legends what they should be playing..    If the dj was an rookie, I could have live with it..  but this is just stupid. If I was Nick Warren, I won't be returning to that place again..

Get your pay cheque and don't go there again!!! Same thing happened to me at a wedding recently. To be fair they listened to a good 6 hours of my 10 hour minimal set. As I was getting thrown out the door by the Best Man C'mon Eileen came on!! Well I couldn't believe my ears!
