Mixmag Cover CDs

Hi.

Mixmag cover CDs are usually great, but I am seeing that most are uploaded at 320kbps max or rather much lower than that.  Is there anyway we can get our uploaders to rip them in flac and upload to torrents.

I have pretty much 30-40 albums ripped in flac from 1999 - 2003, also have everything from 2004-2008 but they are @ 192kbps and I dont have the CDs anymore as I moved away from the UK, and also why i dont have anything after 2008 :(

I am willing to upload everything, if we can get something going on here.

It might be a good idea depending on if people want the extra filesize associated with flac and they can play them in their portable players or encode them themselves. I personaly would be in favor of it as I generaly only play things on my pc and have a stereo system connected to it that makes the added sound quality noticable, but the rest should give their oppinion on that as well.

In any case, you can up them if you want, though you'll have to be a power user to do that. I don't know if you have a seedbox or not, and if not, what kind of home connection you have, as it might be a bit hard to seed so many albums in large files from a home connection with only 10mbit upload for example.

To be fair my connection is feeble and I am China, would make more sense to send them directly to one person who then becomes the host.

About flac, i don't know what the demand would be like, but anything after android 2.2 (i think) plays flac natively, while in my opinion you can hear the difference on any pair of halfway decent headphone when compared to 192kbps or even 320kbps.

Anyway before any special effort is made I would like to find the people with the albums I am after.

I can give you an ftp login to upload them to (I have a seedbox on a 100mbit dedicated server) and share them from there.

I don't have any of the others you are looking for, I might be able to find a few elsewhere but the uploaders (or others) interested in those genres will probbably be more helpful.
