hehe, true.. and they're using simple huge sheets of plastic wrap... when i was young back in russia we've had DACHA - a country house with a small piece of land to grow vegetables and fruits and berries and such... the irrigation water wasn't always supplied by the main line pipes, only certain hours of the day, so we've had a huge metal container sitting there which we filled to the top every time the water ran, and then used it later when there was no water supplied. anyways, that container, roughly 1m by 2m by 1m (deep), was heavily used as a pool on the hottest days.. later we dug out a pool in the center of the back yard, laid out with tile and shit, and stupid thing didn't hold water after all, had to keep it running to keep the levels up.. anyways, enough of the stories..
why am i saying this? because for such actions there's a special proverb in russian language, which is very hard to translate, straight up word to word is something like "poor people are sly innovators".. or more sense - "necessity is the mother of invention"...

Slash the last one is hilarious...
When it gets hot here in Brisbane we have been known to roll out the inflatable pool, only a foot or do deep, fill it with water and bask in the heat. I do remember doing that once on a back patio/pergola after getting home around 5am in the morning. It was so hot, couldn't sleep, rolled out of bed, filled the inflatable pool up, and began the party all over again.... Filling up a trailer is taking it to the next level
