Yes, I know it is not truly a club but I can bend the rules because its my feature.

Started:1990 by Laurence Malice (currently the Egg promoter) and Tim Stabler
Last Night - 2008 - Still Continue to do one off events
Location: Most famously Turnmills London
Resident Deejays: Tony De Vit (RIP), Fergie, Trevor Rockcliffe, Pete Wardman among others

5AM Sunday to 1PM Sunday
Door Policy: The door policy was firm but fair: "You don't have to be gay or a member to get in, but your attitude and look will count".[1]

Trade was the afterhours club for gay clubbers. Starting at 5am Sunday Morning to 1pm Sunday Afternoon. Tony De Vit was famously associated with it until his demise in 1998. It was held at the Turnmills (Owned by John Newman....father of Tall Paul). It was known for harder music.

haven't heard much of trade, but one gay dude told me about gay parties he's been to... he said, if it was an invite-only event, then at the door there'd be a platter with LSD and a platter with ecstasy pills, take what you like... gays take care of each other... talking about NYC.
