Dave Clarke is one of the moodiest deejays on the planet. The man is the greatest techno deejay on the planet. His CV reads like a who who's of music. His association with Laura Jane (now his wife) in the early days and his Archive One (highly recommended) album was what first got me to him. His Red 1, Red 2 and Red 3 were techno landmarks. His outspoken nature has riled many but he always seems to tell the truth. He said Techno was too white and he was right. He has got into many arguments with many people.
He is always at the forefront of technology, he released before I was so rudely interrupted on mp3 in 2000!. He released one of my fave tracks, Compass. His remixes vary from everything from Nitzer Ebb to Zombie Nation.
He now lives in Amsterdam and he always gives 100% percent....
