Benefits of DHT to Tribalmixes users?

Has anyone done any testing or experimenting to see if DHT helps them with connections on tribalmixes. I am curious to see if its something that everyone should be using. Or if its a load of internet buzzword

You should turn off DHT anyway, most private trackers don't like it.
no point in uping 5GB only to see next to nothing is added to your site ratio?!  the site users must come first! with DHT on. anyone looking for the file can get it from you. on a "hot" file your BT software is seeding for all it's worth, shame about the site users have to now wait for a open slot,

that's right, and to prevent DHT from getting into our community's well being, we have special actions taken, such as setting your uploaded torrents as 'private', if you forget about that, - most of original-state non-tweaked clients respect the 'private' flag and do not allow dht to get into the private pool.
