Not Able To Rate The Torrents

Way Too Complicated,& I am not complaining at all in the least,in fact it was just a question to find out why it is more difficult to make the sets (that YOU as an uploader are making available)
more appealing to others,and no matter how I look inside the torrents,I do not see the place that is supposed to be for ratings,and I have spent far too much time on the hunt for a dropdown rating menu!
So just for the sake of it
            See how many sets have a rating at this time tomorrow,
                  I for one can`t rate them,,,, I do not have that option!
Also those people who rated their torrents all at once after a few days,will also not remember to rate.
so seems like there are gonna be a hell of a lot of votes & ratings fall by the wayside.

There should be another option:-
I cannot find where to rate them seems they are only there for vips or uploaders

Busker is right i can't vote for any torrent, not only the new one i've dl, but older ones, that i haven't rated... there were complains about that from other users, we even talked to viktor 'bout that. I think that vips and higher class users can vote, so for bocaccio and bidona it will work.. Sorry for saying it, but i almost got offended by your comments, guys..:)We're not lazy, look at the older torrents how many votes they have, and from a couple of days - no rating:( And we don't always complain, we're just interested 'bout what's happening here... I never said YOU complain. I'm speaking of people in general. Again, I'll say when you go inside the set-you CAN rate it.

I would also like to rate a torrent but I don't have the option either.

Its a god-damn programming fault is it not?... I figure someone was working on the site and accidentally messed up the rating system. Its odd because its right around the time where the PoLLs started asking questions about this very subject. I am a power user and am also unable to rate any sets, like all these other pwr users are saying. I think if we just look into this a little more rationally and stop with the aggressive allegations, the rating system could be fixed... or removed all together. I thought that was the direction we were leaning towards anyway. This rating system in my opinion is almost a non-issue if it is going to cause such a fuss. Maybe you mods would like a couple 'print-screens' to prove the average user is not lying, I would do that for you if u like. I hope this helps...

Sorry people...lol...maybe i didn't realize that i have access to something that you all don't. It never occurred to me that something as little as rating would have an error..Im sure it'll be fixed in time

maybe it's a little bug. i can't contact slash now to ask if it is, but maybe he wouldn't have posted the poll about rating if he would have done this intentionally. so maybe today, or tomorrow i'll check the code, and make a temporary fix for this. if he'll be back, then we'll know whether i was right, or not.

Thanx for fixing the rating Viktor,I appreciate it,however,I still think that because it is now more difficult to rate a download,that many users will not bother,I don`t think that it is laziness,but because,if someone has multiple downloads happening,then it is quite probable,that they will actually forget what they have rated or not.
And being practical about it,(Who is gonna go hunting to find out if they rated a set that they got last week or not?).
When it was visible on the Torrent list it was much easier to remember,because it was there,visible,
and to be honest it gave an easy path back to the torrent,and a comment.
I think that there will be less comments & ratings,as a result of this change,
But thanx for your efforts.

1. sorry guys it's all my fault i guess i screwed something when working on the rating process recently before i left to wmc, i still am in florida, but afaik viktor1983 has fixed the problem.

2. ratings were removed from easy-access browse page for a few reasons, most of them - faster page generation, when sql query takes 0.05s instead of 0.85sec for browse page when also including check for 'if downloaded - show rating drop-menu', as it was before with an ability to rate from browse page.

3. poll on the main page will result in a soon-to-be-developed reminder for all of us to rate torrents we download, if we forget about it.
