So crazy this time... %) Try to rip all, but I don't know what will come of it.

But it's a pity there isn't the most interesting scene - Live...

I did catch all 4 streams for day1, but each live stage is around 5 hours instead of the 8 hours which was scheduled. Channel 1 (Main) capture is around 7½ hours.

Therefore, I will not start working with the recorded material until Monday. If you have the time and desire, I don't mind if you share. And I will continue to write streams, in case it comes in handy.

Question: VP9 better than AVC or video stream just smaller at the same bitrate?

VP9 usually does have the same quality, but lower bitrate due to better compression.
I once had the experience, that VP9 was even better video quality at the Coachella stream, but not in general.

All in all, VP9 is recommended.

I've also switched to VP9 after Coachella. YouTube is really lowering the bit-rates on live streams and VP9 can handle that better.

Yes, It looks like you're right. i compare my avc rip and vp9 rip. in static frames it seemed to me that the avc quality is better, but vp9 clearly wins in dynamics.
