IDC 2012: how to enter the contest

before we (organizers) get slammed with numerous questions on "how to enter the International DJing Competition 2012", i would like to lay out several basic steps that will ensure your joining the contest. please, note, this is not a tutorial how to win the contest, it only explains what steps need to be taken to enter the competition.

  • IDC 2012 registration dates are: now till 01 February 2012, 00:00 gmt

  • first, decide, if you'd like to do this alone or as a team of up to 3 DJs. the final scoring method will favor teams, possibly choosing best grades/ratings per all 3 djs per, but it hasn't yet been decided. if team is the way to go for you, - make up a team name. in case of solo participation - team name will be same as your DJ name.

  • second, prepare the information for each dj: a) DJ name/alias, b) country of residence, c) working email (will not be published anywhere), d) any possible internet resources for the DJ (home page, social pages, wikipedia, soundcloud, beatport, etc)

  • third, get all that info together, and send us an email or a personal message here on tribalmixes using any of the methods listed here https://www.tribalmixes.com/idc-all.php#contacts and wait for the "acceptance" reply.

  • fourth, and the last one, after getting accepted, start working on an exclusive 1hr long DJ mix for the contest. IDC 2012 mp3 submission deadline is 01 February 2012, 00:00 gmt. special extension of up to 3 days can be given per special request.



    so, as you see, entering the contest is very simple - just get the info together for yourself and up to 2 of your friends and send us that info. do not post it here. use emails or personal messages listed on the official page.
