TEST DRIVE new skin-publishing mechanism, page 1

hi. as promised a few weeks ago, now i've got some free time and finally got to making the skin-uploading routine for users who want to make their own skins for tribalmixes dot com. so to cut straight to the point: use this link to access the page, read all instructions carefully before doing something. you can upload css-skin-files and any pictures for skins, size can't be larger than 100kb per file. you can upload a new skin, than don't forget to post its name, or if uploading a new version of an existing file or a picture you don't need any names, just enter/select the filename and file-type (stylesheet for skin .css/ picture for jpg/gif etc). and don't forget to check your skin by selecting it in your profile. if it's already selected for your default skin - just refresh the webpage. also note the path to your picture files - /skins/your_name/pic.ext. noone else but you and me can see your skins.

and if after you've made that skin you want to share it with others, just let me know. i don't know if this feature will be used by anyone, but it was a great programming challenge for me and kept me busy for a few hours, so i did it (maybe just for myself).

after a few minutes i have a thought. the only thing i missed was a complete removal of the skin from the database. but i will finish that tonight. probably.
