new µtorrent 1.6.0.0. - the BEST!!!

for those who hasn't switched to utorrent yet.. reasons to do it:
  • seeding 300 torrents only takes 11MB of RAM (700 torrents - 13MB), other clients can handle that (sometimes) with 20 times more memory usage
  • problem when many torrents register at tracker at the same time (when you start your client, for example) or same problem when utorrent starts more queued peers if your upload speed isn't maxxed out, both these problems would make some of your peers come up as unconnectable with others connectable (button 'FIX' shows up) was fixed by developers by simply spreading those torrent registrations withing some decent time, not to overload tracker and not to cause unconnectable peers.
  • scheduler allows you start-stop seeding at special times (to record streaming audio or something, i do that to record xm radio, since their stream is very sensitive).
  • it's fast, it's easy, it's build in C++, it's really tweakable if you know what to do..

i've had no problems with utorrent , i 'd also recommend EVERYONE downloads it
but slash , i have no idea how to tweek it -that's if it needs tweaking .

utorrent is the best torrent client I've ever seen ... I'm not using it for a while now cause all the time I'm on Mac and I talked to utorrent guys at their site to develop a Mac version soon ... on Mac I'm using Transmission which is very good compared to other clients for Mac :)

link is there cause i put it, i did it on my own and never asked them and was never asked by them to do it.

as for the tweaking it and stuff, i think now all those options are already set up to work right, but older versions need special changes in options to perform the best, as pre-caching the data and saving dumps instead of continuous to affect hdd less. these things were absent when i've first used utorrent, btw Gatz has advised me, but all these things came into the program over the time, great thanks to developers, and (secret) i have donated $20 to the cause from website money about couple of months ago...
