12-Jan-2008.quick update.. we have never reached the $3k goal, been around 2.5, but then donations went down significantly, so that not even replenishing
the saved amount, it's been dropping since summer, PLEASE DON'T STOP DONATING!! :) in the meanwhile, we couldn't take server blackouts any more,
and noticably increased our current server's powers - added 1 more GB of RAM, making it 2GB now, and a 500GB HDD, which will also help alot.
while the MARATHON is still on, donations are still multiplied the bigger the better.. every dollar helps! because the server's rent, of
course, grew to $235 per month.. we need more now.. :) THANK YOU!!!

a year has passed and most important goal now - purchasing our very own server machine, followed by renting only internet access, which
on a long shot will definitely save alot of funds. good machine would be around $3k supposedly, so today we're are starting
the First Official TRIBALMIXES DONATION MARATHON, which will last for as long as our reserve
funds are below the mark of $3000, and will result in following: each and every donation appreciation reward will be DOUBLED
for donations up to $10, TRIPLED for donations from $10 to $50, $50 to $100 will give 4 TIMES the reward (it is 4GB
upload credit per $5 of donation), one time donations of $100 and higher or a total of your donations exceeding $200 will make you
a PLATINUM USER!!

NEW BETTER FASTER SERVER WAS RENTED!! 15-may-2006

heyhey! finally we've come to it : OUR NEW DEDICATED SERVER!! well, it's rented for $194 per month, this
is a high price, but here's what we have: P4 3.0Ghz machine (w/ hyperthreading enabled), 1GB of RAM, 120GB HDD and, which is
the best of them all, pure premium bandwidth, incredibly fast page loads and client-tracker
communication. this bandwidth is worth every dollar we spend on it. right now we have enough money saved to go
through the summer, so we just hope website members will help keep it running.

we are happy to announce to all of the users who couldn't use paypal but was wishing to donate, that we are now in relationship with
moneybookers system, it provides services in many countries that paypal doesn't cover. if yet you cannot
use this one, but still want to donate somehow and have knowledge of a nice donations-suitable system used in your country, please tell
us about it and we will help you help us and support us. :) thanks to all who checks sponsor's adds, we had first income from that of $126
which was transfered to website's bank account and applied towards funds for server's future rental expenses.

so... we wish you and blah-blah-blah. and our present to you all is brought by users who have donated in these 2-3 months that donations
are being taken. our dedicated server is also taking part now in seeding new torrents, producing awesome speeds on its 10/10mbps channel.
yet we do not have too much resources on the server, so not many torrents can be seeded from there, but selected ones will. and user
by the name of superseed is the server itself as it is
really going up in ranks of topten. but this sweet thing costs doesn't come along - it is on our dedicated server, which needs to be
paid for. we are working on some more projects for the website with this server, so any donations will be great to keep it all going.
remember, if you cannot donate for some reason, you can always click banners shown in some spots on the website and right below here, for example.

after we were banned from shared hosting and few days of absence, we strike back now and bring you
full power of AuthenticAMD, AMD Athlon(tm) XP 2200+ with CentOS 3.3 with 512mb ram and 60gb hd. this babys costs
about $72 a month, which is very nice cause we get unlimited bandwidth on a 10mbps port, so pretty much very great speed.
lots of stuff to take care of, so soon we'll implement all we've talked about. and for now just notice, that $numbers above now reflect
all the donations, including spent about $82 on setup and first month. so... please, donate! any sums are very welcome. so that we could
keep doing it on nice webserver with nice no problem life. thanks!

much has been said about the dedicated server rent project around here within the last month+.
and very great thanks and appreciation to those users who have donated. lots of users promised to
donate, but never did, so this should be left for their own conciousness. we can just say that
recently a high growth of peers was noticed on the website, which from one side makes it all better:
faster speeds, more available music, but on the other hand it is bad - many peers will finally make
current hosting throw us out... so this is a GREAT call to all who has some a little extra money -
please donate! we are almost there!

news on DEDICATED server project!!! 16-aug-2005

as you can probably see on the status panel on top we have launched a donation meter originated to raise
funds to rent a dedicated server for the website. all that because shared hosting is not the best
choice for a torrent tracker, so many problems with connectability and transfer speeds can be found.
that's where dedicated hosting steps in, so website growth will be supported by better hardware, faster
sql processing and no connectability issues (in case you do it right). also this server will allow us to
run any kinds of software on it, that will be some unix-based client, which will take care of most transfers
with upload speed around 200kbps, letting you leech files in minutes. after that we will most likely remove
ratio-watch, or bring it down lower.
