An interesting fact is that he was born as Kevin 'John' Digweed, I'm so glad he never used his first name, doesn't have the same ring!!! :-D

every time i've seen him, he's totally killed it
i think if i could have any dj in the world play at my party, it would be digweed, bonus points if he brings sasha and few crates full of early and mid 90s vinyl.

Couldn't agree more. How long has he been on the scene now?

Seems like forever.

Wether it's his mix CD's - live sets in a club - back to back with Sasha - Transitions Radio shows - all top notch.

Diggers, we salute ye!

:love:

Saw digweed 5 times

once with sasha --->mind blowing

the other times was digweed playing more tech house (deejays tend to play harder stuff when they visit toronto....never a dull moment with the wizard.

I used to go to twilo every last friday of the month to see them both those sets were legendary.  I've seen john several times and several times with Sasha before he went tone deaf or something.  Sasha hasn't done it since he started messing with the maven controller he had made.  I have some up close pics of that thing somewhere on a hdd.  But digweed has always played what he likes and his taste is exceptional (to me anyway) especially with his new live mixed series.  I haven't been out in years to hear him live and miss those moments when you realize you've been dancing for 2-3 straight hours while getting mindfvcked when he is in what people like to call "vortex" mode.

There is no other DJ that can match johns skills or his feel of the crowd.  He does not plan out his sets but plays them on the fly adjusting to the crowd.

Really hope i can see him in a club setting with an extended set as i'm almost 40 now "parties" are not my thing anymore.

Diggers = Hands down best DJ ever.  I will say I lost touch with the whole scene when the "electro" crap was being played thank goodness it didn't last too long.
