that is called "rave", brother... i don't think there are raves in ibiza.. not enough room..

I call it several big tents all playing different styles of music & I wasn't implying this could be or should be done in Ibiza.Homelands was just a example of a venue I'd been to that was set somewhere more natural & exclusive for the dancers, listeners, ravers etc however you like to label it .

But the idea I 'personally' like is having a natural venue ,@ as low cost as possible so as many people can enjoy the music, no matter of their financial status.and maybe give THe tribalmixes Gathering it's own unique status unlike the majority of clubs that are business.

Now I'm only giving my idea's .It sounds like that this has been discussed before this thread, so I'm guessing most people expressed that Ibiza was the location it should be in or because of the need for organization, Ibiza is the only practical solution .

I'm just expressing or pointing out that this could be the opportunity  to make something alternative than the already many commercial clubs, for the tribalmixes people to call their own .

But like I said either way, if it's in a club in  Ibiza have a Great one .

such as you say could be done and would be sweet. but not in a country where police will come asking questions, including "do you have a permit/license for this gathering", "do you drink any liquor on the open", etc etc... then a place needs to be specified as far away from civilization as possible, to avoid any confrontation with the law. then people need to get there and back from there... then you need advertising... even if there's 30k users on this site, i'm sure only dozens will come (be able to come).. while such an event would probably involve minimal funds, just to make flyers maybe, rent a bus or two, and compensate djs just a bit, if they insist, all the mixing could be done by "tm-local-djs", who would most likely be happy to just play their favorite music without being paid for it; while all that accounted, it is still a tremendous work-load...

a hot example... how about frisky radio? popular? to some extent. i've been to their "friskyParty" in miami at WMC, 2 or 3 years ago, at that time frisky has been as popular as it is now, i'm sure... anyways... turned out quite a small event... with maybe 30-50 people attending in total... so... ghm... well, let's just leave it at that...

It reminds me of the time in England when all the 'legal' radio shows were only playing a strict genre of music , back then it was rock N roll that found it's voice with lots of 'Pirate Radio' stations  that Illegally broadcast the music.

Ok I've Got the general concept of what is needed to make a truly Top Event .

1. A top secret venue, or in time a number of venues only known by tribalmixes in  remote parts of the countryside  :-D

2.Keep them small & exclusive   then if one gets hit it shouldn't effect the others.

3.They are organized by the attending individuals whom bring all the necessary equipment  (generators for the sound system,Drums, tents, food, drink  etc )

Something like this could easily be done with enough people wanting to make it happen,Be.

By keeping them small enough -I.e - 200 people max, their are still plenty of place's out in nature where a well organised group could get together for a night of 'loud music' without having to go down the usual 'legal paths' thus have the usual 'legal' kind of event .
But at the moment such a thing is still pipe dreams . For one their are many people whom are not used to being 'let free' .If they were in a place without enforced law....?well many do not have the self enforced morals to  treat others as they would them selves .mix this together with Alcohol and other Drugs and the sweet dance event out in the country could turn into something very messy indeed .

I'm just dreaming of the future slash :-) one day

Ibiza sounds a Good practical venue & it's also good to dream of 'The ultimate venue '

You should first concentrate on the central theme . The reason why you as individuals wish to get together. So meet up in a pre-planned hotel lounge, cafe etc on the first day . Have someone whom knows or even better lives in Ibiza organize the best clubs to visit.

As far as expense goes & how long you stay goes I'd leave that to the individual / You could for example organise that ' Example mount hotel ' is the 'Named' place where tribalmixes can stay & possibly with pre-booking & enough numbers get discounts for tribalmixes guests .Also using  'named' accommodation enables the using of the hotels lounge as a meeting place . In this way other tribalmixes users whom want to go cheaper either so they can stay longer or whatever can stay in alternative cheaper or more expensive accommodation .
I have been to Ibiza quite a number of times though a while ago & the price of accommodation like most place's can range from 4 star to tents. So the option of staying in the named ideally 'mid priced' hotel or a camp site leaves a lot of price room for tribalmixes users .

Here is where I camped the last time I went to Ibiza

- Camping Bungalows San Antonio
address: Ctra. San Antonio, km 14.8 from the center of San Antonio,
 Tel +34 971 803 265 Tel +34 971 803 265

Situated near Malvarrosa, just 200 meters outside the centre of San Antonio.
Consists of 32 pitches for 4 tents, 14 big bungalows (4 p.) and 20 (2 p.)smal ones.
One can rent bicycles and motorcycles and the pool is there to everyone's disposal.
For a little more comfort and luxury you can also visit a village or resort in Ibiza :

another camp-site in Ibiza nightclub capital ( not the actual capital which is Ibiza Town )

-  J Ribas Tur, San Antonio, Ctra. Port d'es Torrent Tel: +34 971 347 469

As I said though, Essentially someone whom is on the island should Organize events .

Interesting ideas here about the countryside camping TM party.  Could be fun in the countryside, a camping natural excursion, but that is a whole different kind of event, more exclusive TM.

I guess when I threw up the idea, it was more of ... lets all meet at Ibiza, hang out, party, dance, have a good time, maybe see Kanat spinning if we timed it well enough.  He is willing to help in some ways too on Ibiza since he will be there in July.

Also guys, let me throw you a thought.  We are mostly Guys here.  Only a few women even venture onto this site, so if we make an exclusive event out somewhere, there may not many women around.  Anyway, thats just something to consider.

edit:

Seems my post was timed just about the same time as the above post, which is some good information.  Camping there would be a possibility, and choice of anyone who comes.  And meeting up with people in a Lounge/Lobby would work.

Emata mentioned to me, and Kanat mentioned ... renting a house.  Which is also very possible.  But I fear the responsibility of the house to the one who signs the contract.  But if someone is willing to take that risk, I'm up for that too.  Of course, how many people can we put up in a house is a question too.  I really prefer to sleep in a bed, unless I chose a tent and camping.

So, there are alot of options, and people can do different things.

I think its gonna be a blast ... whatever we plan!!!  :-)

agree with slash , and i don't think that we will be able to have an organizer in Ibiza to prepare an event there , I can get you a great event in Egypt with a very big place and all nature views if you want , and am sure it will be a  night that you will never forget , but are you willing really to come ( Egypt is waaaay cheaper than Ibiza :-D )  ??

I think for Egyptians that want to go to ibiza it will be like you need 1000 euros to attend and stay in a good places and raves , to get your pills and stay in the safe side with your cash to get some sovoniurs and stuff , and you have to know that the tickets ( Plane ) will cost you like about 3500 EGP , so you will need in total like 10 000 EGP

we have a year to save  :-P

but Egypt would be a ton of fun   :music:

what I'm hoping is that everyone on this site, doesn't come out and say, I live here... so come to my area cause its so cool

there are so many cool places to see, and neat places to go ... everyone will have to make some sacrifices I think, I know I will, cause .... I'm broke.  Divorce killed me.  But I'm gonna start saving now, and hope the world doesn't fall in on me, and take my every last cent.  ;-)

Guys , just a few words:

IBIZA: I've been there 2-3 years ago. Prepare for paying 25-50€ for club entry and 10-15€ for drinks (if the prices haven't changed since then). It is not a bad idea, just the price/value to me is a bit high and air tickets there aren't also anyhow cheap during the season even if you use a low cost like air berlin (for europeans).

What i would maybe think of as being a "more acceptable solution" - could be Willy's Egypt, ideally during sept/october where the temperatures aren't so high and also air tickets do have a more favourable pricing. But what we need in the first place: QUALITY djs ! And at least one semi-big name as headliner.  For such an event i am ready to pay a significant entry fee.

Just a thought:  In some areas (Australia) people from communities sometimes gather money to pay one of the top djs touring in Australia like Hernan Cattaneo to play just for them. Maybe, with right place, audio system, bars, etc, solved - we could do it as well.

To meet a few tribalmixes-user is a great idea!
Ibiza: I've been there 5 times in the last 10 Years. Last time 2007 when the government changed. Now the clubs have to close 06.30 (Bars 04.30). There are no Day-Party's anymore
It's very expensive. For a house: 100-200$ per night and person. Last time we rent a apartment (kitchen, "seat-grill-place", pool for all apartments) 100$ per night/person. There are some cheap hotels or bungalows (around 60$)
Understand me right: I like this island, very small, around 65 bay's, great party's and clubs. But to pay so much money? For the same money i spend for 2 Weeks Ibiza, i can partying in Goa (India) for 6-8 weeks :-D
I heard some good ideas about other places in the world. Did you heard about "kaZantip?"
https://www.kazantip.com/video

Somebody was there? I heard is very cheap there?
