Can you improve your internet speed - well lets check it out

run a few speed tests :

some you need java - if you don't have it installed don't install it.

https://www.dslreports.com/stest

https://www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/

https://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

after that go to here: https://www.speedguide.net/

on top of page - click broadband - broadband tools - SG tcp/ip analyzer

these settings are important i don't want to get into details you can read
what they have to say about it. But it will tell you your

MTU and RWIN settings ( how many packets are you receiving and sending )

go back to broadband - broadband tools - SG tcp/ip Optimizer

download the Optimizer and run it - this will give you the best
settings for you machine.

run a few more speed tests :

https://www.dslreports.com/stest

https://www.bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/

https://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/

if you like the improvement ( if any ) keep these new settings

if you don't go back to the way it was.

i've run the tests , downloaded the optimizer but it does not improve the connection badly. i can see a slight improve but what can i say , i feel it can go more :) looking forward to find new ways to free bandwidth :-)
