yea of course to make it easier to every one and sure they are going to be ratio free too

more to that... maybe they will be DOUBLE-RATIO-FREE? maybe those torrents will "really" reward you, by not only giving back your downloaded amounts, but also DOUBLING those numbers, so that your ratio will actually GET BETTER (grow) and total downloads will decrease after you apply that award.. how would you like that? =)

i deffinetly LOVE the sound of that slash...DOUBLE RATIO-FREE AWARDS FOR EACH TORRENT....that would really help those in need....and deffinetly helping everyone else...because after downloading all the teams sets the ratio will be damaged even with a single ratio-free....great idea slash.....
and i hope those mixes are in by tomorrow so the teams wont loose any points.....its good u made penelties so that the djs would hurry up with it......enough talking.....ciao for now guys

Let the Judgment Begin!!!
well, besides that judgment itself, we're proud to announce the beginning of the music-revealing stage of IDC 2008, where we start off with 9 of the 13 teams that advanced into the IDC from pre-selections. why 9 would you ask? because 4 teams haven't made it on time to submit their music in full, each team is missing one mp3 to be specific, so they're bound to receive 5% penalties, which will be deducted from their final scores... these sad but necessary measures might as well take away 1st place from one of these 4 teams, but there will be no exceptions made, and noone to blame but yourselves. if mp3s are not yet present by 6am GMT00 on 28th of January, teams will receive additional 5% penalties, if manage to make it within 24hrs from that point - until 6am GMT00 on 29th of January... if this 78hr extension yet helps not some of these 4 teams, they will be removed from the contest.

with all this said,.. to DJs - Good Luck in the Competition, to all Others - Enjoy the Music!!

FINAL IDC 2008 Schedule
  • Jan 27, 2008 to Feb 15, 2008 - the Judgment Period, when judges are to download all the music and to judge it, as well as official listeners to snatch at least 55% of the torrents. only Judges and Official Listeners can submit their grades at this time.
  • Feb 16, 2008 to Feb 22, 2008 - ..when all the scores from Judges will be finalized and finished, and submitted, and all the ratings from Listeners also finished, as well as Supporters will also be allowed to vote and their ratings summarized, all IDC 2008 results should be available by the end of that time - on 22nd of Feb or so - The Judgment DAY itself...

How does the Judge rating submission work? Do we just have to rate the torrent itself? I would rather appreciate a rating central with extended rating information about each contestant and team with comments.
Posting those informaion right into the comment section will be a mess since the torrent comments are already filled with "good luck"s. ^^

yeah, yeah, i know, i'm on top of it.. or rather on the bottom, but i'm planning this done asap... whenever its done, judges will be able (and required) to 'rate' each set and dj (with 3 different marks), and submit short thoughts-words on each of them sets. it's all being done...

i like the idea of rating every single set out of 3 rating each out of 5 ,i've already done that in a sheet of
doc on my pc for 3 teams and still the rest to come ,maybe add an overall rating for each set ?
but anyways waiting 4 the judges central voting center or whatever to put my votes into.
    thnx slash ,awesome job  :beer2:
i    IDC music ; very intense , strong & compatetive

well i have listened most of the sets, many impressive ones, beeing objective i think competition is tight regarding the music, of course some teams have much more supporters ;-)

now, depending on style, i have some favourites.  i think , without any fear to say, DJ Bena's set is the best and strong tribal. i don't think i would have said,  if i was egyptian or bulgarian, hey, Dritytribe is the best, or Tamer Fouda rullz, because it wouldn't had been true  ;-)
i still have to compare othe sets for categories, but i can say the best house/deep house is from Canard.
so i am waiting other objective opinions
