I love to hear Old tribal but I'm not really into new Tribal but  progressive music is really evaluating and going forward and I start to use it as my reguler genre and I think progressive is my best music genre for me

I think there was a post - an old one - with the same or with the same subject in here before

So do you have any suggestions on sets at all?

For me i have really enoyed the 16 Bit Lolita's Bahnhoff set, 2 Rowan Blades sets and one Anthony Pappa set all recorded at Chinese Laundry, really loved Sasha v Digweed Bonaroo's set and the sasha essential mix and space of sound but not as much, The cromie disco from Satoshi Tomiie set earlier this year was tops....... Also the Balance series, Luke Fair, Lee Burridge and Jimmy Van M all of which have toured this year (Mind you Luke Fair had alot more house influences but awesome none the less......

Anything that you have heard this year that has really wowed you or has really caught your ear?

Me too. They were all pretty boring. Nothing that kicked my ass like oldshool techno/trance back in 92-95 and the better times of Global Underground prog house (98-02). Since a few month I'm putting all my CDs into FLAC files on my PC. I realized  then which wonderful CDs I own. The sound quality of Mike Oldfield's "foreign affair" is just awesome if you turn your speakers up, not to speak of "tubular bells" ... Even Van Halen's "1984" album has more power than actual minimal electro stuff

Same here, i love old school progressive and tribal....like Matthew Dekay 2 years ago, Steve Lawler 3 years ago...etc the new progressive just doesn't sound right for me i dont know y, maybe cuz i just  don't like minimal....BRING BACK THE OLD PROGRESSIVE AND TRIBAL PLZ.... :-D
