My passion since ~20 years! :-)

I remember checking the printed program guide for usable content and recording everything on VHS. And then 2003 I invested my first earned money into a digital satellite dish and recording DVB-S-streams. :-)

I think jerpaa could tell similar stories.

for me it started with the MTV Partyzone Massive Megamixes in the late 90s :mml::mml:

I'm hoping to set up a dish at my new house next month, maybe upgrade some live streams with sat feed quality :D

Oh yeah, DVB-feeds still have the best quality, many people aren't aware of the improvoment more mbit/s can do...

Coming back to the 90s, I was always jealous of your TMF the good old days. I only have some superold MPEG1-rips of Dance Valley 2000/2001, I think TMF was quite good in these days? I was living near the dutch border and was watching TMF during my camping holidays. :D

yes TMF was a great channel, I've released a lot of their shows in mpeg1 quality in "the scene" back in those days. Still have all those captures btw.

too bad those days 288p/mpeg1 was the standard hehe. the early age of video capturing

Haha, so it seems like I have content from you since 1,5 decades! Thanks! :D
Do you have a list of these old rips? Would be cool, maybe I'm missing something. :-)

Oh, and if you have stuff still stuck on VHS - I have professional digitizing equipment which does amazing results.

the VHS tapes did not survive the last move :)
