Ignorant music, page 1

I was inspired to start a thread to highlight ignorance. So that it maybe of some genuine educational value.

Some may say that we shouldn’t address obvious ignorance, however they are being ignorant ( I don't mean ignorant in the sense of stupid. For very intelligent people can be ignorant ,since it simply means not knowing or understanding something because they have not yet had the opportunity to access (sometimes through choice) the information that would allow them to think more deeply on the subject.

So here is one mix that has one track that features words of complete ignorance and makes no sense(There are many idealogical aspirations that are expressed (only through words) in electronic music. I wish they'd just let the music speak for it's self   .

So please post any mixes that speak complete nonsense. Of coarse you have to back up any claim with actually observed and measured evidence. Otherwise it is not provable and no one will benefit, as we only really trust what we can understand. The more we understand the more we place levels of trust in that understanding.

Beat Syndrome - Lost triangle mix

This mix starts well and generally has some good beats and rhythms. But, shortly after the 2nd track starts a Male voice starts advocating doing nothing.

"He who has learned to do nothing with his whole mind and body"  electrical activity stops.

So listening to Electronic music has many benefits ,shame about some of the  ideology's that accompanies it .

202 Hernan cattaneo - podcast

Hernan usually lays down some really good mixes. So good in fact, that whatever is personal beliefs are, one thing is for sure. The guy knows a good sound when he hears It. But, this mix is not one of those mixes.

It seems this mix has gone all indoctrinated.

It's easy to tell a indoctrinated track. It has a voice that keeps on repeating the same thing over and over again (that's actual quite a good description of clinical depression) and generally there quite dark.

Ok I admit! I yearn for electronic music tracks, that if they do feature  words, are at least based on something more tangible that other peoples dreams.

Like Evidence! Dreaming is cool, but the best dreams are based on what could be possible. And that's where the evidence lights the way.

In science the closest thing there is to a dream is called a hypothesis. However, the hypothesis differs from a dream in that it is trying to answer a question based in fact.(and some facts change and some become accepted as reliable,e'g ,the planet is spherical in shape)

So lets face the fact and dance. Nobody knows where it will take us, be we sure can stack the odds that it takes us somewhere that is safe for humanity.

Evolution = It's nothing to be afraid of. Absolutely nothing!. if we humans destroy all life on this planet.

personally, i find most, almost all of words inside of electronic music to be distracting and unnecessary, at the minimum. and often just plain damn inane. i've been listening to music for 30+ years, and in a middle of a good track i really don't need some 23 year old DJ to tell me the meaning of life. seriously.
also, i kind of wish the deep house producers would stop writing tracks with lyrics basically trying to explain "what house is" and "how old school is where it's all dope in chicago and detroit or somewhere else". yeah, we got it. i don't need my tracks to be a wiki on house music, really.
etc etc
just my 28 cents.

Well said!.

Dj Opinionated V Dj Evidence.

Just think? if instead of the intoxicated (pop music) Club scene, with Dj Delusional producing/mixing music with opinionated lyrics and a repetitive structure more suited to a soap opera. An electronic music scene evolved where evidenced based lyrics became the GOLD standard.

Instead of loads of Clubbers getting "off their heads" and waking up the next day more dazed and confused then ever. Club goers could be hearing/learning "what's actually happening in their heads" and wake up more intelligent.

It's just too easy to offend ignorant people ;-) .  Even when no offence is intended, just a simple explanation of what the observed and measured scientific method has shown to be reality (that's not my opinion, as I'm referring to the scientific literature. The same literature that is applied to make technology actually work!)

Ok now I'm the one dreaming of a more hopeful future ;-). Many people seem to be stuck in the limbo land of "We are not animals!"

ALL the evidence suggest your off your tiny little heads!.  It's astounding how the brain has evolved a mechanism in order to deny reality in order to cope with reality.
