i used to have same probs about ports,
so u do have a firewall connection, just check ur router configuration in advanced -> ports forwording
then check accept incoming ports ,
go to tools clique on save all and restart
that's what i did

I'm using utorrent and it sucks that mostly 50% of my torrents are unconnectable. So I have to do the stop and start thing every time. As utorrent does alphabetical sorting it would be nice when I could sort in my tribalmixes list (leeching/seeding) too. This would make the stop/start thing more convenient :-)

Or maybe I did not get the key to it ?

i've adjusted to show unconnectable on top some time ago, now did correct to sort in the order of last uploaded first. and you can sort by upload date in utorrent. i think it's most useful.

that's right!!
and for new users.if you dl something what you like check first that they are few leechers.if you are the only one leeching then no one will seed from you!! best thing is to dl fresh torrents with many leechers for start.that way you get a good ratio .and leave torrent open in your client as long as you can. im seeding every torrent for 2-3 weeks.or ewen more if are some leechers on.
yust some advice

did you move the downloaded stuff?when you dl something leave it there .if you move the client won't find it and of course it will dl again.
so i think that you moved the files you downloaded.put them back and reopen the torrent files on you client.
you can move the files when you stop seeding them.

Of course I'm a newbie and have sort of a stupid question ...

I seem to be having a problem seeding ...  :-/

Just wanted to know is there a list of what ports are blocked on tribalmix?

Thanks

Is there a general aim to get more users connectable ? As the number of users is growing we get mor unconnectable torrents :-( This slows the overall torrent performance. But I guess this is a general problem we have to live with.
